About Us

The building was a family-owned Dairy Queen for many years, but after a fire it was later rebuilt as a Country Style Ice Cream franchise which operated for four years. Today it is the Firehouse Bar & Grill.

The Firehouse Bar & Grill's menu was inspired by Julie's father who owned the original 11th Street Precinct in The Village of East Davenport. He was the first to make the grilled tenderloin, sauteed onions and homemade fries a Quad City favorite.

We are constantly evaluating the menu items we offer. Today one of our biggest sellers is our Henny Penny Chicken, which we believe to be the best in town.

We now sell an average of 1000 pieces a week, along with our grilled and breaded tenderloins, Philly steak and cheese sandwiches and our signature sandwich "The Angry Pig," developed by our youngest son, to name just a few.

So sit back, relax and enjoy a cold drink, inside or on the patio, while we prepare a meal for you.
